Well of Hope International (WOHI) is a grass roots based Non-governmental organization registered in Kenya in 2002. WOHI’s main goal is to empower widows to lead better lives. WOHI also supports children who have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We conduct training and advocacy sessions to prevent the occurrence of diseases and help those infected and affected to cope with their situation. One of our major accomplishments is campaigning against forced female genital mutilation and child marriages.

Our Mission

To undertake programs and activities that will assist widows and orphans materially and psychologically in Kajiado District.

Objectives

To improve living standards of widows and orphans through: 

a)     Spreading the Good News of Christ through evangelism and fellowships

b)     Initiating projects for HIV/AIDS prevention and containment

c)     Assisting women to buy property through self help groups initiatives

d)     Providing education to orphans

e)     Supporting the education of girls
