Education

 WOHI assists in the education of orphaned children by providing school fees and books through donations. Donors directly support individual pupils in the local schools.

 Women’s Empowerment 

Support for widows is provided through training and financial assistance. We provide legal advice to widowed women on as far as the law of inheritance is concerned. We advocate for ending retrogressive cultural practices. We are also exploring investment opportunities such as investments in land and beadwork to enable self-sustaining women owned projects to be self sustaining.  

Health

 WOHI embarks on a comprehensive community based health policy where families are instilled with the values of sanitation and environmental conservation. Linkages between cultural practices and health are examined. WOHI cooperates with local health service providers to enhance effectiveness in service delivery.
